I got 6" of rain last night, the end of my driveway is gone. A neighbor flagged the grader and asked them to put my driveway entry back so I could leave in an emergency.
It blew a freight train off the tracks near Tulsa, we have flooding everywhere.
The horse is cleaner than he has ever been, he got pressure washed and probably an enema, The goats are mad and are hiding under the old house.
The pond went from bone dry to overflowing. The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

The grader put the end of my drive back but now I need to wait for the water to go down, the Main road to town has 2 feet of water over it and secondary roads are either washed out or under water, it is nice living on a hill because you don't get your house flooded but the valleys all around you fill with water. The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

I got a quarter of an inch - in 5 minutesIt's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

We've had a lot of rain, but not as much as West Michigan has gotten. The 3 rivers in metro Detroit (the Huron, the Rouge and the Clinton) that are prone to flooding are high, but not flood stage.
The Grand River, on the other hand, has flooded my hometown of Grand Rapids, in West Michigan. It floods the area north of the city to a small degree on a yearly basis, but it rarely floods downtown. Someone had a photo of a fish swimming by a window in their office building.
