#1 Man Wearing Novelty T-Shirt Arrested For Refusing To Leave South Carolina Park
04-23-2013, 11:29 PM
A man wearing a novelty t-shirt with a sexually charged message was arrested Saturday after refusing a police order to leave a South Carolina park due to “the shirt with that phrase on it,” according to investigators.
Michael Miller, 50, was spotted “with a shirt that read ‘I May Not Be Mr. Right But I’ll Fuck You ‘Til He Shows Up,’” according to a Spartanburg Department of Public Safety report.
As seen above, a shirt with that message sells for $19.99 at the Spencer’s gift store chain.
When cops approached Miller and told him that he was not allowed to wear the shirt in Spartanburg’s Barnet Park, he reportedly became irate and “said he would wear the shirt any fucking where he wanted to.”

Wow, sounds like a great catch to bring home to meet dad, although since my dad is a fisher and not a hunter, he definitely is meant for a different woman.

It would be interesting to know what law the officer was citing in ordering the man to leave a public park. The disorderly conduct charge (his actions against the police officer) also hang on the original justification by the police officer. If the police officer had no legal basis for telling the man to leave, then the man is entitled to refuse to leave. Sorry, but we have a long history of cops making it up as they go along armed with laws which police ought to know are either unconstitutional or too vague for a court to uphold.

Nobody should wear a shirt like that to any park that has a playground for children. It's rude and doing so probably violates some kind of city public decency statute.
