    Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
    Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
    Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
    21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
    And clever in their own sight! Isaiah 5:20-21 NASB

    Thanks, Rock. As a native St Louisan, the Bud horses mean a lot to me, grew up with them, seeing them in parades, going to Grant's Farm (home of Ulysses S Grant and location of the home of some of the Busch's). As a sales rep with a major office equipment company, had AB as a client. I had a special tour of the brewery as a thank you for straightening up years long billing problems.

    There have already been so many changes with the brewery since the Belgians took over. I hope that they maintain the tradition of the Clydesdales. They've already sold off the entertainment division of AB. SR and I met a former AB employee who had worked with the Clydesdales at the stables at the brewery in St Louis. He now is with the Kentucky State Horse Farm.

    Felt very melancholy watching that little clip of the trainer and his son, talking about how long they had been working with the Clydesdales and how it is his life.

    I just keep hearing the refrain from that old song, "Slip sliding away". Times, they are a-changing.

    " To the world you are just one more person, but to a rescued pet, you are the world."

    A Nation of Sheep Breeds a Government of Wolves!"

    Third from last on the brown horse is my sister in the Rose Parade. These are Shire horses. She has two of them. They are magnificent.

    PS = that is the smaller (and better behaved) of her two Shires.

    PPS - I can't wait to train my Chihuahua to ride on the big boy.
