    Ray Manzarek, the keyboardist who was a founding member of The Doors, has died at 74.
    He passed away on Monday at the RoMed Clinic in Rosenheim, Germany, surrounded by his family, according to his publicist Heidi Robinson-Fitzgerald.

    Not many people could combine the sound of the organ with rock and roll. He was great.


    Ray hated the way Kyle MacLaclan played him in The Doors movie.
