    At least as a republican!!!

This Fat BASTARD takes every opportunity to stab his party in the back, he should just switch sides now. I can't see him getting the GOP nod after this.

Because of course the needs of the GOP outweigh the rights of the voters of New Jersey to elect their own Senator.

Apparently this is what the GOP leadership sees "hope" in as our "salvation". Look at how they treat McVain.

Go along to get along, nothing to see here.

I agree with you... Kinda. Under the rules now, the voters choose their Senator, So Christie did the right thing. It used to be that the State Legislature elected the Senators.

The way I see it, it's a big waste of taxpayer dollars when fewer and fewer are coming in...

We could say they are spending like drunken sailors. That would be unfair to drunken sailors, they're spending their OWN money.

When Jon Corzine stepped down when he became governor, Bob Menendez was appointed to complete the term. Here is Chris Christie, Republican governor in a position to appoint the first Republican senator since I was but a pup, which is a term that is up next year, and what does he do? Decides to have the state spend $25 million for a special election to fill a seat for a year. If he would have appointed a Republican, not one person would have expected anything different but as usual, he sucks Obama's cock here making sure a Democrat gets the seat. I certainly am not voting for this lump of crap this year.

Hey Madisonian this is the reason you don't have a special election. You fill the seat then hold the election at the end of the term.

I don't know if I am going to break my vow never to vote for a democrat just to go against this tub of shit.

Libtard vs libtard, better off with Democrat libtard, it gives the media less fodder.
