Now interesting note, for the Avengers movie fans, Spiderman and the Fantastic Four are both originally part of the Thanos story line used in the Avengers. And there was word that in the Avengers, they were going to include shots of Oscorp Tower. A signal of co-op. between the companies.

Also Sony and Fox are looking at doing their version Avengers style movie using their respective properties. Fox has a better shot with X-men, while Spider-man is more limiting. Some discussion is maybe doing some thing similar to the Shattered Dimensions game with different eras fight together.
Those are just the licenses, and they will eventually expire, at which point Disney can reign them back in and do their own movies with them. Eventually, you'll see full on Marvel Universe movies that crossover X-Men, Avengers, FF and all of the other characters. Warner has avoided that by keeping all of their licenses in house.
