What caused the military to oust morsy?
"The army's threats to intervene to address the current crisis in Egypt has changed the rules of the game," Gehad al-Haddad, spokesperson for the Muslim Brotherhood has told CBS news network
"This is like a coup and this kind of threat is altogether rejected," he said. "We are changing our tactics and we have prepared a scenario...to confront a situation as such."
"If the army takes action on the ground, we have a plan in place to face that."
Al-Ahram reveals details of Armed Forces' post-Morsy roadmap
The Armed Forces' Post-Morsy roadmap calls for canceling the controversial constitution and assigning specialised experts to write a new one that will take into account the demands of Egyptians from across the social and political spectrum. The constitution will then be put to a referendum after the document receives the approval of Al-Azhar.
A presidential council composed of three members and led by the head of the Supreme Constitutional Court will be set up to manage the country's affairs for an interim period of nine months to one year.
A transitional government with no political affiliations will be formed and led by a military leader during the transition. Meanwhile, the constitution will determine whether presidential or parliamentary elections are held first.
The Armed Forces have secured the country in coordination with security bodies. Weapon caches have been detected, a number of Muslim Brotherhood leaders have been placed under house arrest, and the Brotherhood's funds have been sequestrated, according to the paper.
Instructions were also given to deal firmly with those who resist these decisions and to put them under house arrest in preparation for trials that could be revolutionary in nature.

After the Muslim Brotherhood took over, people were like "Way to go. Bad idea." I couldn't stop supporting the revolution though because I figured that we fought for our freedom. Let Egypt fight for theirs. I'm hoping they get in some more reasonable leadership. If not, then I think the fight will persist. It won't be pretty. We won't like watching it (and we shouldn't be funding them under any of their leaderships). Thing is I don't think they'll ever be free until they really fight for it.
Yeah, I know I sound naive. Oh well.
07-04-2013, 02:23 AMEgyptians were angered that Morsi was giving too much power to his Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamists and had failed to tackle the country's mounting economic woes.
Americans were angered that Barry was giving too much power to his Liberal Friends and other Democratics and had failed to tackle the country's mounting economic woes.
PS - I probably could have left the muzzie thing in there for Barry Hussein too but decided against it.Be Not Afraid.

Apparently the muzzies are raping like raping is legal. I guess when you've never had respect for women in your 1,300 years of backward existence the raping of them is second nature. GO ISLAM!!!Be Not Afraid.

What does a Barry Hussein do in this situation? He was all about the Muzzie Brohood uprising back when Hosni was tossed out, so how about being all about the uprising when the muzzie brohood is tossed out?
Actually, he has to back Morsi in this situation. Has no choice. He also has to put a stop to any military aid that hasn't been delivered yet. Has that been done?
Better yet, does Barry H. even know what is happening in Egypt? Someone wake him up and tell him please. Not now, he doesn't answer the phone at 3:00 AM and besides, he needs his sleep. Tell him after breakfast. No, wait...after golf.Be Not Afraid.

President Barack Obama urged Egypt’s military Wednesday to hand back control to a democratic, civilian government without delay, but stopped short of calling the ouster of President Mohammed Morsi a coup d’etat.
In a carefully worded statement, Obama said he was “deeply concerned” by the military’s move to topple Morsi’s government and suspend Egypt’s constitution. He said he was ordering the U.S. government to assess what the military’s actions meant for U.S. foreign aid to Egypt. In Memory Of My Friend 1st Sgt. Tim Millsap A Co, 70th Eng. To Achieve Ordered Liberty You Must Have Moral Order As Well
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

He is a democratically elected leader in a nation that is an ally. I don't see how we can't back him. We can root and cheer that the MoBro's are scumbags (they are) and got what they deserved but we don't back coup's against allies. My .02Be Not Afraid.
