Lal Masjid cleric dubs Pak Prezís gestures un-Islamic.
LAHORE: The prayer leader of the infamous Lal Masjid in the heart of Islamabad has issued a decree against President Asif Zardari for publicly making indecent gestures towards the American Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin during their Washington meeting, saying the act was un-Islamic and Zardari has shamed the entire Pakistani nation.
Delivering a sermon at the Lal Masjid the other day, the prayer leader Maulana Abdul Ghafar, who is a close relative of the fanatic Red Mosque cleric Maujlana Abdul Rashid Ghazi, who was killed by security forces during Operation Silence in July 2007, said that President Zardariís indecent gestures, filthy remarks and repeated praise of a non-Muslim lady wearing a short skirt is not only un-Islamic but also unbecoming of a head of state of a Muslim country.Stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone.

Maulana Abdul Ghafar, might want to attend a Gators football game down here in Florida sometime.
I'd like to see him fatwa down here.

Oh, what don't these people write fatwas about? This is so tiresome and stupid. It's like me getting a letter from the Baptists about offering beer during a BBQ.
Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.

Do not ever say that the desire to "do good" by force is a good motive. Neither power-lust nor stupidity are good motives. (Are you listening Barry)?

It's strange that a the followers of a religion with no centralization or leader can issue death warrants like this.

Well the lack of a central leader just means any leader can issue the death threat making life just that much more fun. Can you IMAGINE if they actually had a caliphate????Stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone.
