Trust me, 100 years from now neither 'Imagine' nor 'Stairway To Heaven' will get play outside of museum exhibits. And STH still attracts the baby emo tweeners while 'Imagine' is backing commercials for the AARP crowd. :p
At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you." "A chill went up my spine," Obama told an aide. (Newsweek)

Snap, I dont think rock music is going anywhere. Its accessible and when done well it is one of the most impactful art forms (if not the most impactful) in history.
And if you think the Beatles suck because of politics you're an idiot. If there is one thing liberals have its that we make much better music.

I don't think the Beatles would make it through an Idol competition these days. The music may have been cutting edge for the day but with a couple exceptions it sounds stupid to me. While I'm blaspheming, Stevey Wonder music is equally stupid sounding. :o
I'll take Rock Classics for a thousand Alex.:DEducation without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.

Do not ever say that the desire to "do good" by force is a good motive. Neither power-lust nor stupidity are good motives. (Are you listening Barry)?

What's all this Beatles stuff? Everyone knows that Led Zeppelin was the greatest band of all time.“Progress is Providence without God. That is, it is a theory that everything has always
perpetually gone right by accident. It is a sort of atheistic optimism, based on an
everlasting coincidence far more miraculous than a miracle.”
G. K. Chesterton
