The Texas Rangers are investigating the death of a Kingwood woman just hours after a weekend traffic stop in Washington County.
Madeleine Gene Richardson, 19, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Chief Deputy Jay Petrash of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
A sheriff's deputy pulled over a vehicle for speeding at 2:45 p.m. Friday on U.S. 290 near Brenham. Officers found drug paraphernalia and small amount of marijuana, and arrested Richardson and the driver, Gary Keife, 20, also of Kingwood, investigators said.
"As soon as they got in the sally port at the (Washington County) Jail, they noted that she looked a little bit ill and was starting to shake," Petrash said. "They asked what she took, and she admitted to swallowing a baggie of meth."

Generally, you get what you deserve. A TV star dies alone in a Vancouver hotel room of an overdose. Now this. These are the people that fuel this drug epidemic that is ruining our nation at our expense.
I have no sympathy whatsoever.

It was probably a really awful death, too. Stroke, seizures, the whole works. I feel badly for the cops who had to deal with it.
