If it comes down to those two, then it will be two election cycles drinking beer for me.

The issues are limited government: Specifically the complete roll back of the Federal system vs Leviathan. Limited foreign intervention vs Endless engagement. Economic liberalism vs Government controlled Corporate Monopoly. Tax reform: specifically limited taxation, localism, and fiscal restraint vs Confiscatory taxation and trillion dollar deficit spending.

If a candidate isn't talking about that then they are worthless. If this country is stupid enough to send another Bush and Clinton to the table, then it probably is beyond fixing "teh stupid".

He is as anti-Second Amendment as any Lib Democrat. I won't vote to cut my own throat on that one.

Doesn't matter. Come election time your side will tar and feather him as a Hispanic hating racist who wants to run all "brown people" out of the U.S.

And you and the rest of the Libtards will act as the Hallelujah Choir to whatever the MSM says about him.

IF he gets the nod that is. We need another Bush in office about as much as we need another Clinton.

One would hope. However, at the end of the day, you will most likely end up voting for Hillary, because any Republican who doesn't share your stance on gay marriage will prove to be unacceptable to you, and any Republican who does will most likely be unacceptable to anyone else.

Some of them are simply local meetings with the GOP or grassroots actions with Libertarian and Tea party groups. What do you do?

And Obama is working out about as well as that guy Bushy I voted twice for.
If you really believe that, then you are seriously deluded. Bush wasn't perfect, but he wasn't hell-bent on transforming the country into a socialist wet-dream.

Oh, he can be accused of anything that the Democrats want to make stick. The media will parrot their claims without any hesitation and when they are refuted byt the facts, what few retractions are made will be buried. Look at the smear campaign against Sarah Palin for an example of what is possible.

Nothing childish about it. California will go for the Democrat candidate as it is a one party state with no viable opposition party. My one vote will not change this fact. Might as well use my time in a more productive manner than voting in a futile effort to stop the inevitable.

I saw my first Hillary 2016 bumper sticker just yesterday, not surprisingly at the health food store.
