#1 Thieves steal limbless French adventurer's wheelchair08-12-2013, 08:39 PM
AFP - Limbless French adventurer Philippe Croizon, known for his feats of swimming and diving, has had his custom-designed wheelchair stolen while on holiday in northern France.
Croizon, famed as the first quadruple amputee to swim across the English Channel, appealed to the thieves to return the wheelchair.
"They haven't just stolen my wheelchair, they've stolen my autonomy," Croizon told AFP after the theft of the wheelchair and its trailer, which he discovered missing on Friday morning while staying with friends near Dieppe.
Philippe Croizon celebrates underwater on January 10, 2013 after becoming the first quadruple amputee to dive to a depth of 33 metres, in the deepest swiming pool in the world in Brussels.
I know I am mean but I don't see the accomplishment with the diving, would you just throw him in with a diving belt on and then fish him out when he's done?
"soon he returned to the surface with baited breath"The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

I wonder if they've ever had a bite when they throw him out there.?The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

I'm on a roll now...................just like he was when he tried to chase down the thieves!
Knocked them over like bowling pins.

I'm sorry Lord, I didn't mean none of that there.
Could still use a sink hole in Martha's Vineyard if you got the time and all.
