    Hillary's Perfect Campaign Slogan

I was at my favorite cigar store, which is a bit like a gentlemen's club (although there is the occasional lady present), with leather chairs and couches, and card tables, a couple of big TVs (usually tuned to all-sports or all-news stations), and populated by a coterie of regulars and semi-regulars, among whom politics (generally of the conservative persuasion) is often the topic of conversation, and political wit is exchanged and encouraged.

The TV news had just reported that serious challenges were once again being raised about the government's report on the crash of TWA Flight 800 on Long Island in 1996.

I started to quip that Queen Hillary had already chimed in on the matter, and I was about to deliver my idea of what Hillary's comment would have been, when almost the entire room, almost in unison, stepped on my punchline:

"At this point, what difference does it make?"

It was clearly one of those jokes that writes itself. It was not at all difficult for anyone in the room to surmise that Hillary would be every bit as insolent and cavalier about the deaths of those on Flight 800 (and about the apparent coverup) as she was about the deaths in our consulate in Benghazi (and about the already-exposed lies in that coverup).

What made my joke so predictable was that the phrase has already become almost synonymous with Hillary Clinton; she owns that line, as much as her husband owns "I did not have sex with that woman" and "It depends on what the meaning of 'is' is."

But then it began to dawn on me that, rather than being a phrase that will forever live in infamy; rather than a phrase that will haunt her with ridicule for the remainder of her political career, it's a phrase with which she is probably not the least bit embarrassed to be associated.

In fact, I can envision as cynical a politician as Hillary Clinton actually embracing it!

It wouldn't surprise me one little bit if, when she runs for president, that phrase were to become her primary campaign slogan.

And, if you think about it, it makes perfect sense. It's the perfect expression of the utter contempt and disdain that Hillary, Obama and their ilk have for our "old-fashioned" American notions of honor, accountability and personal responsibility.

At the rate we're going -- at the rate the "fundamental transformation of America" is being implemented -- by the time Hillary does run for president, the country will be so demoralized, so depressed, so bereft of hope that our slide into Third-Worldism can ever be reversed, that it will be the perfect campaign slogan!

It will mean "We've already accomplished our goal of destroying America as you (all you 'bitter clingers', all you believers in 'American exceptionalism', all you cherishers of the Constitution and of 'truth, justice and the American way') knew it. There's nothing you can do about it. Who cares who the president is?"

I can see it now, on billboards and TV commercials all over the country:

"Hillary Clinton for President; at this point, what difference does it make?"

I know this should be in a 2016 election thread but, I couldnt resist. This is the closest I could find.
Somehow I just knew as soon as I read the title of this piece what the punchline should be.
Think of all the possibilities ...

    When Pigs Fly
    Reach Out and Tax Someone
    It's Mourning Again in America
    What Difference Would it Make?
    Hillary Gollum Clinton for President
Help Eradicate Capitalism in Our Lifetime
Your Long National Nightmare is NOT Over

The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

You are being too kind, Hawk!

Luckily for her, she still has time to book an appointment for an industrial-strength botox treatment, plus double cheek (???) and chin lift surgeries!

Typed this while preparing brunch ... not a "slogan" I know, but couldn't resist it!

No time to go back and tweak it, so will just post as is.

    ===================================

With apologies to Helen Reddy and lyrics by Hilliary Clinton

I am woman, hear me roar
My balls are bigger than before
And I know too much to go back and pretend ...

That I do not know the score
And I've been down there on the floor
No one's ever gonna keep me down again!

    Yes its my turn now
And to this I will avow
    I'll pay any price
    And damn'd if I'll be nice ...

If I have to, I will do anything
    I am strong
    I am invincible ...
