We have had a soaking wet summer down here in SW Florida!! We just got
an inch and a half this morning!! Soaking tropical down pours that have left our
backyard under water!!! More coming I believe.

If we get a late Tropical storm or hurricane there is going to be MAJOR flooding.

We have to be close or over (at my house) a foot of rain in month. It is the rainy season
so this is no surprise but the last few summers have not been like this.

    How about where you live??
May the FORCE be with you!

    -10" for the year
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
Live every day as if it were your last, because one of these days, it will be.

Half a month's rain in the daylight today and still more coming down after dark!
Flooded cars that probably belong to DUers too dumb to turn around sitting all over downtown Houston.
Bar ditch was running 6" deep above my drive and a foot deep on the downslope side.
Inch an hour and more in the heaviest areas.

Relatively dry summer, per usual. Very wet spring though. Seemed to want to make up for last years drought. Had a fair amount of rain this past week, which I'm glad for. Was getting hot, though now my allergies are going nuts.
In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

    Yikes!!! More flooding rain here!

I'm sure by morning we will have over 3 inches of rain and
    we aren't getting the worst.

We have friends down in Cape Coral that are REALLY
getting slammed tonight with the training t-storms coming
in off the Gulf. They could see over 6 inches today, some
    places even more.

We were really thinking of maybe moving down to Cape Coral,
canal lots and home packages are still in reach. But they
have a lot of flooded out roads today and you basically
    just get stuck.

It's a good thing I talked SLW out of that idea... (She's gonna kill me....)
