How much do you and your significant other (spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/etc) differ on political matters? Where do you differ--what issues?

    We don't differ.

We don't. Hell, I think my wife is becoming more conservative than I.

He's right. At one time years and years ago, before SR was my significant other there were comments made that we were the same person posting under different names.

We both share a disdain for Obama and his minions. I truly think that one's general philosophy on politics and basic values are an integral part of one's being. I'd have a tough time sharing a life cancelling out the other one's vote.

Mrs. Ody and I differ on guns, not that she's against private ownership, she simply is afraid to have them in the house (She's very British that way).

We don't differ very much on individual issues. I have a feeling we cancelled each other out in the last two presidential elections, though.

Mrs. E is a quiet, but determined liberal who thinks gushy thoughts about Stephen Colbert, Rachel Madcow, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, and PMSNBC.

I think she no longer worships the ground that Oprah walks on, but that's a recent development.

She's my wife and I love her dearly, but not her politics.

We cannot and do not discuss politics at home. It's a sure-fire recipe for a fight.

We don't talk politics much. Makes for a happier marriage. When we do, it's usually her asking me to clarify something. I'd say were similarly aligned, but again it's just not something we talk about. We've never even brought up who we voted for with each other.
In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.
