Government Seeking Inclusion of ‘Social and Behavioral’ Data in Health Records

    http://freebeacon.com/government-see...ealth-records/

No time to express concerns at the moment ... leaving in 10 mins.

Is infuriating and beyond description in it's scope. Only thing I will say for now is:

Lie if asked if guns are in your home, and never say you are stressed out, depressed, worried about anything, not sleeping etc. If this thing goes through it will come back to bite you with a vengeance!

Will come back at a later date to tell you what happened to me on my last routine visit to my GP. It is all starting to make sense now.

    Gotta run.

Home and too pooped and not in the mood to be serious at the moment, after having fun with friends tonight, actually ...

But ... meant to include, by clicking on Step One and then Step Two, in article, you will see what is already required by your doctors ... when it is required ... and the penalties for not doing so.

Heaven only knows what awaits us in the "Social and Behavioral" section of this bloody disgusting bill!

    See ya!

Orwell couldn't make this stuff up. Obama was truthful about his wanting massive change. He just lied by not letting on the extent of that change---and none of it for our good.

Scary stuff. Thanks for posting, will shut my mouth from now on at the doc's. Will tell them everything is rainbows and ponies and sunshine and give that big ole grin.

Re my promised Doctor's appointment post for tomorrow:

Am laughing at myself back here ...

Was in the middle of typing up a storm in my slow two-fingered fashion and accidently deleted the first half of the riveting narrative, after all my work in my "Word Pad" program!!!

Oh well ... here is what is I managed to salvage. You can thank me later, if you must!

This was all fine, until he asked me about the reason why my BP and pulse readings taken by his nurse, were higher than usual this time. I told him, in my usual blurting it all out fashion, ... that I guess it was because I was worried about my husband's shortly upcoming appt. with one of his cancer specialists.
    Big mistake!

The woman at the computer working on the newly installed software (stationed in the examining room with us) was now taking down every single, awkwardly spoken, word that came out of my mouth.
More was to follow, but I didn't get to do it and now can't be bothered, so ... consider yourselves lucky guys!

Ok, a lttle more info, and then back to subject at hand ... "Seeking Inclusion of Social and Behavioral Data etc."

    The reason I originally stated:

Will come back at a later date to tell you what happened to me on my last routine visit to my GP. It is all starting to make sense now.
Is because, when I finally got in to see my doc, this woman sitting at the desk during my entire visit, was busily typing in all the regular info needed ... including type of medication I take (blood pressure-cholesterol, and thyroid) in order to put all his files into the new EHR system.

I answered a series of pertinent questions, and then the questions (asked of me by my GP) finally seemed to me, to be a little out of the norm, especially coming from him ... and I ended up regretting telling more than I needed to about my feelings. All of which went into my record.

    The thing is now ...

If this "Social and Behavioral" Data comes into being, I will have already told them about my husband's health problems in detail, and Heaven only knows, ... when viewed in black and white, by future inadequately trained so-called "health professionals" ... how my words would come across and be interpreted by the bastards!

Oh well, "Ours is not to wonder why, etc.,"

It's a shame that we can no longer talk freely with our physicians but must hold back information that could potentially help us in a diagnosis if this was a perfect world. Now big brother is interfering so we have to be very careful.

I noticed the therapist was taking down way too many notes last week when I was getting therapy for the rotator cuff injured when I fell over Bella (our greyhound) in St Louis in June.

I intend today to barage her wth so many questions that she will have no tme to take down many notes.
