Katie died on Monday afternoon. I took her to the vet and she was in kidney failure. I had them put her down.

I'm going to adopt another puppy.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, I couldn't bare the thought of losing any of my puppies right now.
The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

They're great friends and it's hard to lose them. But you gave her a great life, and you'll do the same again for another lucky pup.

So sorry to hear of your loss. It's never easy and they are like family. That's what got my elkhound. Thanks for adopting a shelter dog. There's such a need for adopters.

Sorry for your loss, Noon. Know Katie is waiting for you on the Rainbow Bridge.

    Noonie ...

Am so sorry to hear the news, but happy to know that you are going to adopt a new puppy. It will never replace the memories of Katie in your heart, nor should it ... it will simply give you another chance to share your love with yet another of God's needy little creatures.

    NJ ...

I love that poem. It may be a bit fanciful, but it is such a wonderful, endearing thought.
