I'm telling you, he joined a Buddhist temple in Texas. I can only tell you what's being reported.

I read the accounts as well, but what I got out of it was he was "searching" for something. Unfortunately, he found it -- a series of well-placed bullets in his corpse.

Seriously, I did not take from any of those reports that he was any sort of serious Buddhist. He was exploring.

If he were serious about Buddhism, it's highly doubtful he would've been so wrapped up in violent video games -- First Person Shooter games, I would imagine.

Again, I need to ask. How much did political correctness play into this. Here is a guy with several violent acts to his name and yet none of these acts are on his jacket.

It seems like the game companies are missing a niche by not marketing First Person Shooters to Buddhists. Perhaps a game called Blind Zen Archer, in which the player is guided by sound? Even if they don't sell many games, the cost of the graphics would be so low that overhead would be minimal.

With his state of mind I am shocked he didn't convert to Islam.

He was certainly pissed off enough to be third world al Qaida cannon fodder. He wasn't smart enough to be the one to strap the bomb on somebody else.

Something tells me we won't really ever know the details of his religious life. They would turn him into a white redneck of German descent if they could.
The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.
