The passers-by were as dumb as clams and the rest of the politicians in DC. They tried to smother the flames with tee shirts! Damn, that's gotta hurt....

It looks like an actual gas can too, kind of odd that you could just walk around on the national mall carrying a can full of highly explosive fuel.
