Glad its not on TBS. Their announcers are terrible. Keith Olbermann was the worst. They couldn't help letting their bias for LA shine through loud and clear.

I may have to correct myself, but I think I heard on the telly that the series will be on our local FOX network station. I thought it would be FOX Sports.
Check the schedules in your area.

The best updated info I have...
All times Eastern, all TV broadcasts on local FOX stations. The Cards pitching rotation will probably be the same as in the NLCS.

THE PICK: Cardinals in four
WHY THE CARDINALS WILL SWEEP: Yadier Molina, the last active Cardinal from the 2004 team that got swept by the Red Sox, gathers his teammates before Game 1 at Fenway Park. It's not difficult to assemble them, because the visitors' locker room is the size of a shoebox, and also because it's always easy for Molina to assemble the Cardinals — he just uses the telepathic brain implant that all Cardinals receive upon their arrival in St. Louis. "This is for the Cardinal Way," Molina explains. "You already know about Marlon Anderson and Kiko Calero, about Matt Morris and Woody Williams, about Cal Eldred. But there was another guy on that team. Mike Matheny. He's the same one who's our manager now." A hush falls over the room. "We do this for him," they say in unison. The Cardinals operate with the machine-like efficieny of the cyborgs that they have become, but each is still, at heart, a man with his own motivation. For Molina, it is revenge. For Adam Wainwright, it's a belief that beards are to be properly groomed and maintained. For Carlos Beltran, it's the last item on a lengthy career to-do list. For Joe Kelly, it's America. For Matt Adams, it's the promise of having a sandwich named after him at his neighborhood deli, a sandwich that he will get to eat free for life. For me, it's about having made a preseason pick that actually has a chance to be correct, and sticking with that. That's why it's Cardinals in four.Last edited by marv; 10-22-2013 at 02:35 PM.

They would never put the World Series on a subscription network like Fox Sports.
That said, I'm torn here. I hate the Red Sox(and any Boston team) but Shane Victorino is one of my favorite players. I'm not keen on the Cards but I'd rather keep the WS in the NL. It's going to be a great series regardless. The American Left: Where everything is politics and politics is everything.

I don't hate the Red Sox, but I hate Boston fans almost as much as I hate Yankee fans/New Yorkers.
I don't have a horse in this one, so I'm going to root for SLW's Cardinals.
Jim Leland retired from the Tigers on Monday, after the weekend loss. I'm reasonably sure that Prince Fielder and Johnny Peralta will get traded in the off season. Maybe not Fielder, but he's being blamed for the losses.

Thanks. I was hoping that Detroit would win, would have been a less stressful series. I also hate the Boston fans. They are really rude. I heard them booing the Cards at the very beginning of the game. St Louis fans are loud for the Cards at home, but don't boo the opposition like that.
Not too thrilled at the beginning of game 1, Boston leading 3-0

Feel better now. It's tied 1-1, going back to St Louis now. Amazing after the Cards didn't look too good last night that it was Boston's turn to make the errors.
