    I don't know that I'd frame this as an "addiction". Easy money and little work is attractive to a lot people for a lot of reasons.

    We have bad habit of medicalizing what are simply poor decisions, bad habits, and various inclinations.

    Agreed.
    Frank, if you and I ran the therapy industry in this country, we'd have a 80% percent success rate and a prime time TV show. :D
