That is in very poor taste. I'm glad you think it's funny.

I understand the first cartoon, it is border line.
The rest are accurate and funny.

Not sure what the controversy's about.
The Challenger's demise was a catastrophe, as is Obamacare.
A political cartoon doesn't have to be funny. I see that as being dead serious.U.S. Army, Retired

Flying in space is inherently dangerous. Those people all went up with the Challenger knowing the risks and the benefits and they went anyway. The event was a horrific example of bureaucracy, cronyism, and pressure in getting that vehicle skywards despite knowing the problems with the O-rings and temperature.
But I'm not putting that event in the same category as, for example, the Twin Towers. That's a whole 'nuther animal.
And Obamacare will most certainly lead to deaths. Very soon, in fact:

Mr. Elliot bit off more than he could chew when he voted for Barry the fucktard who happened to sign off on what will most certainly become Elliot's death warrant. So in this case, I'm not sure I'm wholly sympathetic. Mr. Elliot will reap what he's sown. But there will be countless others who will deny themselves medical care because of the expense and the load that decision will place on their families.
But back to the point - I witnessed that event on TV live in January 1986. I was horrified at what I saw. At the same time, space travel has always been risky and while I applaud those courageous souls who died in that tragedy, I just don't put this episode on the same pedestal you evidently are, NJ. Whatevs.
But the cartoon succeeded in getting its point across. It definitely piqued our interest and our commentary.U.S. Army, Retired
