Alec Baldwin is again the target a criticism from gay rights groups after he was caught on camera calling a photographer a 'c***sucker' - and possibly worse.
TMZ.com claims Baldwin called a photographer a 'c***sucking f**' as he was leaving his New York City apartment Thursday following the sentencing of his stalker, Genevieve Sabourin.
The '30 Rock' star claims he never used the word 'f**' - and pleaded ignorance when he was publicly taken to task for using the term 'c***sucker.'

We did a poll: we don't care what Alec Baldwin says when he's angry.

Nobody can ever say that GLADD only fusses at conservatives because Alec Baldwin is one of the meanest leftists on the planet.
I guess c**cksucker is about like b**ch. Some of the people who think a lot about the meaning of words may find them degrading to groups such as gays or women. However, most people don't even think of it that way. I guess the people who think too much are right, but I don't think people are meaning to degrade a group of people. I think they're only meaning to degrade the person they're speaking to.

They had to, Lanie, or they would have lost all credibility. I think what Ody is referring to is the fact that the media is giving Baldwin much gentler treatment than they have given conservatives in the same position.
Think about where Paula Deen was after it was revealed that she had used "n *****" many years ago when a black male held her at gunpoint. The fact that the male was committing a violent crime--and the fact that the usage was many years previous--held zero importance for the media and she lost everything.
Baldwin, on the other hand, has no such excuse. No gay person was literally holding a gun to his head (or even covering him with a glitterbomb). And yet, he has not been lambasted in anywhere near the same manner.

Oh, please. Here ia the text of GLAAD's "call out":
By Matt Kane, Associate Director of Entertainment Media at GLAAD |
November 15, 2013
In a post on MSNBC.com, Alec Baldwin issued an apology and announced the network was pulling his talk show Up Late With Alec Baldwin from its schedule tonight and next week. The full post can be seen here.
Tonight, GLAAD's Vice President of Communications, Rich Ferraro, responded to the decision saying "Alec Baldwin still needs to take real action. MSNBC has sent a message that anti-gay slurs carry consequences, and that's an important standard to uphold at a time when LGBT people continue to face disproportionate levels of bullying and violence just because of who they are."
The announcement came following the release of a tape yesterday in which Baldwin is allegedly heard calling a photographer a 'c*cksucking fag.' GLAAD responded to media outlets about the incident: "Mr. Baldwin can’t lend his support for equality on paper, while degrading gay people in practice. It’s clearly time he listens to the calls from so many LGBT people and allies to end this pattern of anti-gay slurs.”
They don't call for his firing, or for MSNBC to take any action against him. They just tell Baldwin that he has to behave himself so that he can be welcomed back into the fold. It's a slap on the wrist from an organization that wouldn't hesitate to call a conservative who'd said the same thing a bigot and demand his firing or resignation.--Odysseus

They can call him out all they want to...but until the people that continue to employ him...continue to pay him and give him a stage to vent this kind of latent rage and homophobia either fire his stupid ass or drop him from endorsing their products...GLADD tsk tsk'ing him for this doesn't mean squat.
Where were they the last 5-6 times he's done this?
