John McCain did his "Captain America" routine and suspended his champaign to fly back to Washington, DC and the press followed like baby ducklings all in a row - amazed by his apparent leadership.

"For the Country" was his mantra, and everyone cheered his heroism. He sat in a joint meeting with the president and his competition and said nothing, not a single syllable, for forty minutes, while Obama asked questions as to the course the current leader of the United States was going to take to turn the economic fortunes of our nation around and stop the bleeding.

The initial House vote turned out to be a bucket of crap - supposedly because Nancy is such a powerful witch and cast a spell on the Republican membership.

Obama boasted that a prospective Commander in Chief should be able to multi-task and within 48 hours of that blasphemy McCain put the countryís best economic interests aside and restarted his suspended champaign.

Nobody said a word about Johnís apparent lack of leadership and until the new bill was loaded with sugar - it would barely pass the House. Negating any image of McCainís leadership and he put his hero cape away.

Point to all of this: The economy is going to be subject number one for this race.
At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you." "A chill went up my spine," Obama told an aide. (Newsweek)

That's why it is critical for the VP Nominee to next point directly at the Fannie Mae, ACORN, Reins, Democratic shakedown that took place.

She needs to start unpeeling that onion simply and in plain language for the American people.
At least once every human should have to run for his life, to teach him that milk does not come from supermarkets, that safety does not come from policemen, that news is not something that happens to other people. ~ Robert Heinlein

And what will her understanding and translation of this be?

A credit default swap is a contract between two people, one of whom is giving insurance to the other that he will be paid in the event that a financial institution, or a financial instrument, fails.

How about sourcing this meeting. Were you there or is this the Magic Negro's/ NY Times accounts of the meeting or more of your babbling?

McCain screwed up by not opposing the pork that was loaded on to this bill; he looked weak and the economy mayl come back to bite him in the ass. McCain will have a difficult winning if the economy is the number issue on election day. Obama commercials "It's the economy stupid" will start bombarding the airwaves. Attacks by McCain/Palin on the O's judgement, taxes, associations and his liberal positions must be hammered home. McCain better win the debate tonight or his chances will diminish even further .

From my #1 source - of course: My Ass. ;)

Conversely - if John was in charge of the meeting with the president and was the leader of the gathering, why is his staff holding that fine example of this heroís leadership from us?

yep. and once you factor in the margin of error - it's only a few points. You remember the margin of error right? You were all over that factor when McCain was ahead in the polls . . . .

The economy is a category. Name a specific issue. Give a specific answer on what Barry's position is on that issue and explain how that SPECIFIC position is superior to the position of McCain.
