    Yep. That quote is pretty famous around here!! That was one of the most fun, most exciting rag tag team of ball players there ever has been.

    While I remember "Inky" playing for the Phils in '93, I have much more distinct memories of him. Specifically, butchering left field in old Arlington Stadium along with Kevin Reimer for the Rangers. They used to sell $4 seats in the gigantic outfield seats. Perfect for college students.

    Inky was a horrid LF, and then Reimer made him look even better. :D

    I think I almost saw my Pop Pop cry when that happened...he listed to the Phillies on the radio in the egg washing room every night after we'd pick all the eggs. :p

    Man I miss that time of my life. Freakin wild thing, it's great knowing people who were fans in that era. And yes, Kruk was always a household favorite...my dad flipped when he saw that Kruk is a commentator now.
