Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was hospitalized early Friday morning after he "was not feeling well," his office said. He is feeling better, his office said, and tests revealed that "everything is normal."
"Early this morning, Senator Reid was not feeling well and as a precaution decided to go to the hospital. Tests have been conducted and everything is normal. He is alert, resting and feeling better," Reid's office said in a statement.
"Doctors have asked that he remain in the hospital for observation so he will not be working today."
Friday is the last day of work in the Senate this year, as senators wrap up what has been a busy schedule before holiday recess. Late Thursday night, the Senate passed the National Defense Authorization Act. The Senate is holding six votes on judicial and executive nominees Friday morning.Klaatu barada nikto

They need to do an autopsy to find out what is wrong.

Reid continues to be the picture of undead vitality that we have come to expect him to be.

I wonder if he'd have been treated that quickly if he was forced to use Obamacare for health insurance?

We all know that he is only able to maintain vertical because of that rod shoved up hi......
I mean, I so hope he recovers completely!
He really needs to conserve his strength for walking all over the Constitution like he....
I mean, he really needs to take it easier. Perhaps he should retir....
I mean, he should avoid so much confrontation when he returns from the Holiday break.
Who am I kidding? He is a heartless, mean-spirited, cantancerous.....
I mean, his heart is in the right place......
Excuse me. Had to rinse my mouth out...
In all seriousness, I do not wish ill on Dingy Harry.
I just wish he would live up to the promises made, and the Oath he and his fellows swore.
Perhaps it is time that he realizes that serving in Congress is a temp-job, not a lifetime career.
It is time to move on, Harry.

Glad he's OK. I'd hate for him to die before experiencing all the public humiliation he so richly deserves.
Then, he can croak.
