    Hi rise fire in Manhattan at 500 West 43 Street. Reports of people trapped.



    Fire broke out on the 14th floor. Multiple departments being called in.

    Manhattan fire department now reporting flames being spotted coming from 20th floor windows as well.

    10-45(victims) are being located in the stairwell and public halls.

    The three-alarm blaze at The Strand building broke out shortly after 11 a.m. on Sunday. One trapped resident apparently tweeted the emergency as he and his family waited for help.
