We have now hit a "high" of minus 3. Heard that Sarasota even has a freeze warning.

Well, give me your local temps...

26 F last night with 12 hours below freezing - supposed to be worse tonight (18) with a better warm up tomorrow.

Still won't match the 10 I had in '80 40 miles south of here.

It felt colder at 3 pm (35) than at 7 am (27) due to the wind chill.
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

High today was 7, this morning when I woke up. Never got warmer. Going down to 1 tonight. The wind has picked up again, so when I leave the office in an hour I'm really going to freeze my fanny off until I can get on the train home.

7 degrees according to the news, 4 degrees according to my car, windchill of -3.

It's so cold that teenagers were walking around with their pants pulled all the way up.

I remember the cold cold winter in Alexandria. The heat pumps couldn't keep up. I remember standing in the kitchen at Rocco's in Springfield warming my hands under the food warmers…. and I didn't work there. I got stuck four wheeling behind Potomac Mills and nearly froze to death waiting for my dad to come help pull me out. Lesson #1 : Don't do stupid shit when it's cold outside.
