    Popular Dog Names of 2013

This was one of the questions on the pet trivia today. If the link doesn't work here, go to the trivia link and answer the dog question of the day.

Weird that all of the names except one of the top 10 male and female names are human names. The only one is "Bear" for a male dog.

I name my pets from Shakespeare. Delia is short for Cordelia, and my cat is Miranda. Katie was named for Kate in The Taming of the Shrew. The first dog of my own was Rosie, though, for Rosalita, the song by Bruce Springsteen.

The cousin my grandpa kicked out of the family prior to his death named her children after the characters in the Twighlight stories. I keep telling my colleagues in CPS that this is grounds for intervention, but they laugh at me.

Has anyone asked the dogs what names they like?
The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

Our first Beagle was named Addie, our second one was named Missy and our current one is named Tara.

When I was younger, I had a dog named sex. I was always looking for sex.
