Is it possible to "change the channel" on which wireless networks are received? My system apparently defaults to Ch 11. I got an app on my phone that analyzes wireless networks and tells me ch 11 is the weakest of the 14 the unit puts out. Ch 14 is always the strongest ---So...... as the DUers would say, I need to change the channel on my laptop, my phone, my iPad and my wife's associated set of devices.

But I cannot find a way to do so.

Sometimes if you go to the manufacturers website of your wireless card you can download one from them. The one I use is a Ralink it came with my Alpha hi output wireless card, ccrane also uses a ralink card in their long range radio. i am sure their are third party wireless connection/utility programs available that are even better yet. The ralink is great, I have complete channel control and detailed signal information. I have wireless radios and boosters that work in miles rather than feet, I use long range wifi a lot.

this one looks interesting but you need to find out if it is compatible with your wireless card, that is the first step, identify your card.
