I have heard several rumors that the price of the HD widescreens are going down substantially in the next 60 days or so. It looks like your deal may be one of the first.

I am waiting for the 50 inch Sony to drop below $1500.

I have a 47 inch and a 40 inch Sony and I love them both. We need a third one so we can have one in the family room, one in the computer room and one in the bedroom.

Unless you're a videophile, the difference between 1080i and 1080p to the regular HDTV is not really that big of a deal.

If your wall mount is like this one, you got a killer deal. I got this Visio plasma last year and the damn mount was half the price of the tv!
