ROMEO, Mich. (WWJ) – The principal of Romeo High School has called an outraged father to apologize about a controversial homework assignment.

The 9th grade biology worksheet sent home with students this week featured questions about a mother trying to determine the identity of her baby’s father.

Possible answers included: the cable guy, the mailman, the cab driver, the bartender and the guy at the club.
    CBS DETROIT

I understand the point behind the assignment, but the way it was written is completely inappropriate. It would have been better to just list the different options as the standard A/B/C/D options, rather than "mom is a whore."

This story was all over the local news.

Romeo is where my vet is-it's a good 30 mile ride, but they are nice people and it is worth the ride. It's a very small community-an exurb of Detroit. There are still farms in the area, but it is growing rapidly. It's where all the orchards are that Detroiters and suburbanites take their kids to around Halloween. I'm kind of surprised this happened there-it seems like more of a Southfield or Ann Arbor Public School kind of assignment.

In Southfield it more likely would have been Drug dealer, gang banger, unemployed rapper or freewy exit panhandler.

That may be true, but Southfield has the best-looking male cops and firemen in the metro region.

Then the question would have been "Who da baby daddy?"
