ENGLEWOOD - An Englewood teenager, accused of slashing the neck of a jogger in an apparent unprovoked and random attack, will be held in a Manatee County juvenile jail for at least 21 days as authorities decide whether to charge him as an adult or a juvenile.
Reel’s mother, Ann, said she talked to her son briefly Thursday morning at his first court appearance and that he was “very fearful. He’s never been away from home before.” (Awwwww)
“It’s not necessarily as it seems,” Ann Reel added, speaking about the accusations against her son. “He is not a bad kid. We have never had any aggressive problems with him or anything of that nature. There is another side to this.”
This "kid" and his family are white trash.
Now maybe there is "another side" to this but I have a simple solution...
You put him in the police interrogation room and turn off the cameras. You have his two
POS brothers in the other room behind the one way glass.
And then you beat the living crap out of this widdle monster in the making.
At the end you tell him the next time, he won't make it out the door alive.
I'm getting sick and tired of stories like this all over the country. These little
animals need to shown the error of their ways or be culled.
It's a good thing I'm is a good mood or I might have been harsh...May the FORCE be with you!

The kids' parents were just asking for trouble when they named him Damien.

I don't advocate SR's solution, but that kid should not be released any time soon. Running behind someone and slashing them with a serrated bread knife isn't exactly the work of a decent kid. I saw the pics on one of the local news shows, and believe me, that cut on the attacked guy was awful, lots of stitches.
I'm sick and tired of the old psycho babble about how other kids weren't nice to him, no excuse for what he did. I had a friend in St Louis who was a psychiatrist. She said in med school they had discussions of sadly how some kids were an evil seed from the beginning and mentioned little rocking horse electric chairs. I know that sounds a bit radical. She didn't literally mean it, but said that there sometimes is just an evil in some people from the very beginning. And no, she wasn't a radical fundamentalist, just commenting on some of the terrible things that they had to deal with in their profession.
