Todd Palin was a member - up to 2002. What is this and what’s their mission statement?
At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you." "A chill went up my spine," Obama told an aide. (Newsweek)

Where have you been for the last six months? Google is your friend.

I used to vote for their candidates and so did many of the Soldiers and Airmen registered to vote in Alaska.

But this secessionist bullshit - they can’t be serious?

Sure. Why not? We tried at one time to peacefully succeed from the British Empire. If the entire State of Alaska voted to leave the rest of us on peaceful terms why should we then by force stop them?

Wish them well and say goodbye.

But how can a possible future president be married to someone who was once (for years) a member of a political organization not wanting to be a part of the United States any longer?

Isn't that what the South wanted to do 145 years ago?

Why, exactly, would I think it's "cute?" Isn't there a bunch of cooks along the Oregon/California border that want to create a 51st state known as "Jefferson?" Cute? No. Stupid? Yes.

Obviously, it's much worse for the possible VP's spouse to belong to a group that complains about America than for the possible President to spend half his former career working with a guy who bombed America. Obviously. Really. Srsly.

In actual dollars, President Obama’s $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. It’s no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.

Under Obama’s own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.

Hey, I say let the cooks do whatever they want...as soon as dinner is finished.
