Giving anything up fellow Catholics?
I'm giving up all meat (fish will be allowed). This will be difficult as I'm going on two vacations during Lent this year...so I will have to choose the fish option for all meals.
I'll be on a cruise for Easter break so I can have meat on the last two days of the cruise.
Wish me luck!
Anyone else sacrificing for God?

It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

Since completely changing and limiting my diet a couple of years ago for health reasons, I am in Lent ALL THE TIME and am NOT giving up anything more."Today, [the American voter] chooses his rulers as he buys bootleg whiskey, never knowing precisely what he is getting, only certain that it is not what it pretends to be." - H.L. I'm ashamed. They say confession is good for the soul. I didn't last a day. I went to a work conference today and they had no selection but cold cuts and the roast beef was rare, just the way I like it.
I have no self restraint.
The question now is, do I forgive myself and start over or do I say "screw it"
