Considering the record of both candidates, they may just agree backstage to let that subject slide.

So - back to my original point: A radio broadcaster with a salary of $33,000,000 a year doesnít grasp the same reality that Bush41 failed to comprehend.

    ITíS THE ECONOMY, STUPID!

At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you." "A chill went up my spine," Obama told an aide. (Newsweek)

Abortion IS a big deal with the religious conservative base and it (in my belief) was purposely avoided to keep that issue out of the forefront and thus keep some of the Christian conservatives home on election day.

Same with gun control and another key conservative constituency.

Why would Rush mention the economy, it WAS covered. He was listing issues NOT covered.

There is a bit of a difference on this, but the conservatives don't think so.

Too bad there isn't a conservative on the ballot.

Um.......because he makes $634,615 each week and could care less about the stock market tanking.

Well, that and the fact that John McCain is seeking to 'turn the page on the economy issue.';)

You misunderstand. Rush was pointing out issues that were NOT covered. The Economy WAS covered. It did not belong in the issues not covered because it was.

Rush refers to McCain as "Yosemite Sam". I prefer and think more apropos "Cotton" McCain. Granted more folks know who Yosemite Sam is but still. :p
The 21st century. The age of Smart phones and Stupid people.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.
