I find it offensive to refer to Blazing Saddles as offensive!

We had a thread on this at CC. I went to the original article, and there were over 6,500 comments, all raking Sally over the coals. I could not find one supporting comment. I think that people are getting really, really sick of the insane PC language police. They're sick of being shoved around.

This thread inspired me to invoke a Blazing Saddles trivia question at my show last night. This time, I chose to ask what actor played Sheriff Bart. Richard Pryor co-wrote the movie, but whatever studio paid for it wouldn't let him portray the role.

Garrett Morris was the most amusing wrong answer I received last night.

I would also suggest that ordinary average people are getting tired of being told they are a cross burning racist for simply disagreeing with the current immigration politics of the left.

    I know I am.

Cleavon Little was great in that movie. I use some of his lines to this day. I don't think Pryor would have been good in that role. As for The Waco Kid, apparently it was given to Gig Young but, ironically, he was too drunk during filming so Brooks replaced him with Gene Wilder.

If it's not legal, it's illegal.
The leftist playbook at work. Change the narrative. Pro-abortion is called pro-choice or a woman's right to choose. Illegal, as it pertains to immigration is changed to undocumented. Par for the course.

    "They said you was hung!"
    "And they was right!"

Olde-style, states' rights conservative. Ask if this concept confuses you.
