Gaza City (CNN) -- The battle between Israel and Hamas militants in Gaza saw its deadliest day Sunday for both sides.
Eighty-seven Palestinians died, at least 60 of them in Israel's assault on the town of Shaja'ia, the Gaza Health Ministry said.
The Israel Defense Forces said 13 soldiers were killed. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, at a news conference, expressed the country's "deep pain" at the loss of the soldiers.
In total, 425 Palestinians have been killed, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. It's unknown how many were militants. The United Nations has estimated that 70% were civilians.
Hmmm...lots of Pal Pics but no Israeli ones. Watch the vid.May the FORCE be with you!

Israel's capable of doing so much more damage. People need to realize that.

Just got a glimpse at the news on TV. There was a protest in Raleigh today on this holding dumb signs like "Do we still need to explain why killing children is wrong?"
One protester asked in the camera if Israel has the right to defend itself, don't Palestinians have the right to defend themselves against Israeli missles?
Let's make something clear. The Palestinians knew that Hamas wouldn't rest until they could dismantle Israel through violence, but they voted them in anyway.
Israel wanted to go for a cease fire. Hamas said no, and Israel still kept trying. That was in the past week.
Want to save Palestinian lives? Dismantle the Hamas. Israeli troops don't have to go on the ground. They're risking their lives so they can limit Palestinian civilian casualties. What does Hamas do? They are COWARDS who hide behind Palestinian civilians and probably children. If they were real men, they'd come out in the open and fight Israelis. Problem is they're not real men.
