Why the hell should the UN get involved?

NAACP Takes Michael Brown Shooting To The United Nations

U.S. civil rights advocates aired their concerns about the recent Michael Brown shooting to the United Nations in Geneva, according to a press call from the organizations on Wednesday.

“This issue was front and center,” Hilary O. Shelton, director of the NAACP Washington Bureau, explained during the call.

According to Shelton, Trayvon Martin’s mother Sabrina Fulton and Jordan Davis’s father Ron Davis told their stories about losing their teenage children in shootings in each of the pre-briefings of the process.

“I think that everyone was outraged and horrified to hear that, yet again, it had happened in St. Louis, Missouri,” he said.

The group of activists presented to a U.N. panel in Geneva, Switzerland, documenting their concerns of U.S. compliance with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (CERD) treaty.

On a practical side, wonder who's paying for Trayvon's folks trip to Switzerland?

This whole thing is getting way out of control.

This would be an excellent opportunity to flip off the UN and invite them to move to some African paradise. I think Reagan was the last POTUS with the guts to do such a thing, sadly.

Maybe Eric Holder found some of our tax money to do it.

Well if we're going to get the u.n. involved in this mess can we also get them to look into the continued incarceration of Andrew Tahmooressi in Mexico? At least that covers a problem between 2 different nations.

Why is it that something like this happens and the race hustlers immediately incite protests and riots? The shooting took place on Saturday and they were rioting and looting on Sunday night.

There was no chance for any meaningful investigation to take place, and now the thugs are tying up the police force resources and preventing an investigation.

Deserving to be arrested isn't the same as justification for shooting somebody.

With that said, I don't think we need to involve the UN. It's not like they serve any purpose outside of condemning Israel.

To be sure! I think it is very possible that the situation there in MO is one where: a cop used excess force and killed a man; and the "protesters" are little more than looters; and race-baiters are there stirring up violence for personal gain; and the MSM are there stirring the pot through selective reporting and editorial disguised as news. IOW, no one innocent, no "good guys".

Just more reasons to take the focus off our real problems, the National Guard could quickly stop the riots.

We still have a Southern Border crisis.
