Time flies....her first day of Kindergarten today....I was more emotional than she was....

When I picked her up from school...I asked her how her first day went and she goes "Mom, what's for dinner tonight?" very nonchalantly... I guess it fazed me more than her.

    Ah....very sweet.

I got emotional when my kids started school too.
Obama isn't the problem. The problem is an electorate that would vote a man like him into office.

My sister's oldest is starting high school this year, and my brother's twins are going to graduate in the spring.

The 9th grader is quite cool about it all. She knows she's beautiful and smart, so she just knows she will do well in high school.

I told her that if her teacher tells me that she's not listening that I will go to her class and spank her in front of everyone.

The threat of embarrassment is all you need.

    Don't start this again.......
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
Live every day as if it were your last, because one of these days, it will be.
