California Fining ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ Participants for Wasting Water
    http://dailycurrant.com/2014/08/15/c...wasting-water/

Local authorities in California are handing out massive fines to anyone participating in the "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge" fundraiser on the grounds they are wasting water.

In Los Angeles, which is living through its worst drought in generations, the Department of Water & Power and the Police Department have long been cracking down on unnecessary water usage.

At first there were simple restrictions, such as limiting the watering of landscapes, boats, aircrafts etc. But now the “Water Police” have targeted people participating in the Ice Bucket Challenge, a viral campaign meant to raise awareness for the rare neurological disorder Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

The challenge involves participants video taping themselves pouring ice water onto their heads, then challenging their friends to do the same. Those who refuse are pressured to donate $100 to the disease...

I'm ready to get out the guillotines, sharpen and lubricate them and get them ready
    for heavy use if necessary.

meanwhile, California's idiot governor is rolling out the welcome mat to illegal aliens

On Monday evening, California Governor Jerry Brown said all Mexicans, including illegal immigrants, are welcome in California.
According to the Los Angeles Times, while introducing Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, who said America is "the other Mexico," Brown "spoke about the interwoven histories of Mexico and California." He "nodded to the immigrants in the room, saying it didn't matter if they had permission to be in the United States."
"You're all welcome in California," Brown reportedly said.

    Where from? The Barrio?
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

Even the ALS website discourages taking the challenge if you're in a drought.

Please be thoughtful about water usage! If you’re in an area of the country or world affected by drought, repurpose the water for later use or help spread ALS awareness by becoming an ALS advocate, joining the Walk to Defeat ALS® in your community, getting involved in our fundraisers, or sharing information about this disease via social media. Or you can make a donation instead at www.alsa.org/donate.
