Mike Brown’s family attorney already claiming video shows there were no injuries. But just as with the George Zimmerman video, this kind of a video is not very revealing as to that, as we saw in that case, he had his head cracked open but that wasn’t clear or visible from certain angles

But I can't seem to find anything detailed and current. If Brown fractured Wilson's orbital as alleged then then Brown's premature departure from his mortal coil via Wilson's service weapon was warranted, IMHO.

Here is the transcript of the police call: http://www.stltoday.com/news/multime...908056790.html

At 11:29 a.m. on Aug. 9, a dispatcher asked Wilson to help other officers search for a man who had reportedly threatened to kill a woman. At 11:47 a.m., Wilson said he would respond to a call for a 2-month-old with breathing problems. Wilson drove his police SUV from the west side of West Florissant Avenue to Glenark Drive, east of Canfield Drive and Copper Creek Court, where the fatal encounter would soon occur.

At 11:53 a.m., a dispatcher reported a “stealing in progress” at the Ferguson Market. The 911 operator was still talking to the caller in the background. In a second broadcast, 19 seconds later, the dispatcher says the suspect is a black male in a white T-shirt running toward QuikTrip, and had stolen a box of Swisher cigars.

About four minutes later, there’s more detail: the suspect is wearing a red Cardinals hat, a white T-shirt, yellow socks and khaki shorts, and is accompanied by another man.

At noon, Wilson reports that he’s back in service from the sick-baby call. He then asks the officers searching for the thieves – units 25 and 22 – if they need him. Seven seconds later, an unidentified officer broadcasts that the suspects had disappeared.

At 12:02 p.m., Wilson says, “21. Put me on Canfield with two. And send me another car.” His call triggered at least two officers to head his way, including one who said he was close to Wilson.

Sources have told the Post-Dispatch that Wilson has told authorities that before the radio call he had stopped to tell Brown and his friend, Dorian Johnson, 22, to quit walking down the middle of the street. They kept walking, and he then realized that Brown matched the description of the suspect in the stealing call.

Wilson then asked dispatch for backup and backed up his SUV next to Brown and Johnson.

Wilson said Brown attacked him, sources said, and that they struggled over the officer’s gun before Wilson was able to fire twice, hitting Brown once. Brown ran away.

Wilson has told authorities that he called, “Shots fired, send all cars,” on his radio, but during the struggle his radio had been jarred and the channel changed.

The Post-Dispatch reviewed radio calls made during that period on all St. Louis County police channels, the fire channel used by Ferguson and other channels publicly archived online and could not locate the call. At least one channel on the Ferguson police radio is “receive-only,” meaning that the call may not have been broadcast.

After the call, Wilson pursued Brown on foot.

According to sources, Wilson has said that Brown turned and charged, and that Wilson then fired once, paused when Brown appeared to flinch and fired again, multiple times. He said he then radioed for an ambulance....

So all this idiot had to do is move to the sidewalk but he chose to do what those people do and act like the world owes them a living and it got him killed.
Leftism is a bottomless pit of absurdity.

Low resolution - NTSC TV resolution or worse - much of it slightly out of focus, high angle, B&W, .5-1 frames per second. Not great for spotting details. One thing caught my eye, though. If Officer Wilson is the man wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants, he is wearing civvies, not the uniform he wore during the incident. Perhaps it was retained as evidence. It is also quite possible that by the time these videos were recorded, Officer Wilson had cleaned up (if the PD was on the ball, there would be high res pix of the state of Officer Wilson's face and uniform prior to removal and clean-up).

But sometimes things of great significance are easily overlooked. If he were unharmed, why would Officer Wilson have been taken to the hospital? It was too short for observing his mental state. Any powder burns from firing his weapon would scarcely be noticeable. GSR would have already been sampled by police investigators. Police officers generally would be too professional to waste ER doctors' and nurses' time with grandstanding or anything trivial.

The reasonable inference is that Officer Wilson had suffered some sort of physical injury of such potential severity that: A.) It would be noticeable to medical people; B.) It needed to be documented for the sake of the investigation; C.) Care was required due to potential serious injury.

It's rather speculative on my part, but it seems like if Brown and his buddy had been walking on the sidewalk, they might have gone unnoticed. Once Officer Wilson saw and spoke with them things seemed to have started clicking together in his mind, and he probably would have attempted to stop and question them even had they complied with his instruction. What is certain is that if Brown and his buddy had complied with all that Officer Wilson instructed them to do, the worst thing that would have happened by now is that they would have been arraigned for theft. Even had they simply run away that is the worst that would have happened to them by this time. Police firing their guns at fleeing suspects in the strong-arm robbery of a box of cheap cigars happens in movies and on TV. Brown did a @#$% of a lot more and worse than run away from Officer Wilson!
