R. Kelly Found Not Guilty of Child Pornography
CHICAGO — A jury found R&B singer R. Kelly not guilty Friday at his child pornography trial, acquitting him on all 14 counts.
The jury reached a verdict after less than a day of deliberations.
Kelly, who returned to the Chicago courthouse Friday morning, was charged with 14 counts of videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl, who prosecutors say was as young as 13. If he had been convicted, he could have faced up to 15 years in prison.
Kelly and the alleged victim, now 23, deny being on the tape. Neither testified at trial.
Earlier Friday, one juror sent a note to the judge after three hours of deliberations that read: "How can I be removed and go home? I really need to."
Gaughan called attorneys into the courtroom, told them about the note but adjourned before dealing with the matter. The jury had stopped deliberating for lunch.
Earlier in the morning, the judge called in attorneys to discuss another juror, who had become frustrated by slow service during dinner the night before and started banging a bottle on the table and cursing. That juror was allowed to remain on the panel after other jurors indicated they could continue working with him.

Haven't followed this one. My only hope is the aquittal is deserved. Call me a bit skeptical of those in the music industry especially rock and rap.Gun Control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound - Unknown
