Like Richard Pyror used to say " the m.f. is dead; he ain't moved a muscle." Translation, dead is dead and the overwhelming number killed in Chicago are black. Brothers killing brothers.

You don't have a car so what would you do with an APC but look at it? Plus they don't let dummies drive military vehicles.

The Chicago Sun-Times says that from Jan 1 - Oct 21, there have been 426 homicides in Chicago. This total gives Chicago the dubious title of Murder Capital of the U.S.

    http://cbs2chicago.com/local/chicago....2.847736.html

At the current rate there will be over 500 homicides in Chicago this year. Imagine, there will be more homicides in Chicago this year then American troops killed in war in 2003 or 2008. I'd take my chances in Iraq, unarmed.

If you total the number of homicides in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago this year, they total more deaths than any year of the war.

There are violent deaths in Iraq aside from coalition forces. How many innocent civilians were killed in Iraq in the last year? How many Iraqis had to flee the country? How many insurgents were killed? How many people are missing limbs or are disabled? How many with PTSD?

Is the point that Iraq is safer than Chicago? I've lived in Chicago for two years and I haven't even once seen a gun.

Most of the crime in urban areas is not random. It is drug related, or has to do with gangs, or domestic disputes. People who do not engage in bad behavior typically do not become targets of random violence. In Iraq however, suicide bombers are indiscriminate. People get killed there for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Saying Chicago is less safe than Iraq is simply not true.

Q: How many innocent civilians did we kill?
    A: ?

Q: How many innocent civilians are alive because of the U.S.
Q: How many kids have a school to go to because of the U.S.
Q: How many thousands of innocent civilians would be slaughtered in Iraq if the U.S. pulls out prematurely?
Q: If thousands of innocent civilians would be slaughtered, and they would be, how is our presence responsible for the deaths occurring now. What, we're responsible if we are there, we're responsible if we're not there? Is that it? Is America such a horrible country that any carnage our enemy inflicts is immediately our fault?

Q: Do I give a flying fuck how many insurgents were killed?
A: I'll answer that one myself, hell no and not nearly enough.

Q: How many people are missing limbs or are disabled? How many with PTSD?
A: You do know what war is, don't you?

Most of the crime in urban areas is not random. Someone gets their head blown off for looking someone in the eye the wrong way, being on the wrong street, standing on the wrong corner. You don't call that random?

People who do not engage in bad behavior typically do not become targets of random violence. How many innocent kids have to be killed in drive-by shootings before it's not typically?

I've lived in Chicago for two years and I haven't even once seen a gun. You do understand what Murder Capital of the U.S. means, right? And that's more murders than much larger cities. You should write the Times and tell them they're wrong since you haven't seen a gun.
