It just makes no sense that a political party would run a candidate who is not Constitutionally eligible.

That's kinda my thinking, but I can't help but wonder why he's blocking the requests. If he's made it this far into the campaign and not even eligible, what does that say about our country?

I don't know the answer to what happens to an elected president who turns out not to be a naturalized citizen. The Constiitution does not make allowances for this so he would have to be removed.

People who think like you don't feel the rules apply to their party members, but they only apply to the opposition. If a republican was doing this, you liberals would be on it like flies on shit.

It says some voters are scared shitless about the thought of a black man as president. :D
At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you." "A chill went up my spine," Obama told an aide. (Newsweek)

I haven't been following this story moment to moment, but what is supposedly wrong with the birth certificate I have seen on various sites?

I always thought there was some type of internal process for presidential candidates where you have to submit certain documents, especially the one that proves you are eligible to run. If the government is just "taking someone's word" for it, that is just wrong regardless of political party. Here the liberals/dems are bitching about McCain's vetting process, but if Obama isn't a citizen, what does that say about their vetting process???

I have been reading things here and there, but now I am trying to follow it more closely. Here's the latest on Berg's lawsuit. More information, including the court documents, can be found at: http://www.obamacrimes.com

(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania – 10/21/08) - Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s lack of “qualifications” to serve as President of the United States, announced today that Obama and tbe DNC “ADMITTED”, by way of failure to timely respond to Requests for Admissions, all of the numerous specific requests in the Federal lawsuit. Obama is “NOT QUALIFIED” to be President and therefore Obama must immediately withdraw his candidacy for President and the DNC shall substitute a qualified candidate. The case is Berg v. Obama, No. 08-cv-04083.

Berg stated that he filed Requests for Admissions on September 15, 2008 with a response by way of answer or objection had to be served within thirty [30] days. From what I have gathered, and you'll have to ask Megi to be sure, these people want to see a certified birth certificate. I just don't understand why he don't just produce it and get it over with.

What it says is that there's something to hide. Not certain what that is, but there is something there. It also says that our country has a media that doesn't care about legal or illegal activities, only popular vs. unpopular.

The fact that Barry is blocking access to his papers while the DNC is making noise about Sarah Palin releasing her medical/gynecological records is very interesting. I am much more concerned about the state of a candidate's nationality than the state of her uterus.
