I'm going to make these---sound easy and made quickly. SR says he'll like them, but easy on the peppermint.

Are the green candy canes spearmint?

I was thinking those little jelly tree shaped candies are spearmint.

I used to make the krispy treats a lot...the one with peanut butter and butterscotch morsels. They didn't last very long.

They are green and a little milder, I like both.

Do you remember how much peanut butter you added---or butterscotch morsels? That sounds really good.

And spearmint sounds better than peppermint, Rock.

That sounds so yummy. Ralphie knows how to cook, but baking goodies sometimes doesn't work. Haven't had an oven I can rely on for a while. But may give this one a shot.

The recipe might be on the butterscotch package.

    Found this on the internet.

    1 cup butterscotch morsels
    1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
    3 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal
    or 3 cups Kellogg's® Cocoa Krispies® cereal

You heat the peanut butter and melt (on low heat constantly stirring) the morsels together in a large sauce pan. Then mix in the krispies. Put spoonfulls on a sheet of wax paper until set. Set's up pretty quick.

Your version is better than those chocolate mint ones. SR loved the pb ones. I got my recipe from a "healthy" web site. I think if you cut down the amount of rice krispie cereal down by 2 cups, it would be better.
