Hey y'all! Nevermind the fact that your 401k has lost 40% of its value in the past 30 days! Now is the time to be buying. All of this irrational behavior has presented (those who still have some cash around) with some great buying opportunities!

Post your top picks here! I will give you mine:

    NCC - National City
    CC - Circuit City
    SIRI - Sirius
    MSFT - Microsoft
    C - Citi
    CSCO - Cisco
    AIG - AIG
    EMC - EMC

Circuit city, AIG? You need to get out and read the news.

On edit you need to "research" all of them.

Oh wait ... this is sarcasm isn't it?
I dream of the day a chicken can cross the road without it's motives being questioned.

No, its not. If you are an active (and smart) trader, you can make a killing on these. They fluctuate 20+ points in a few days. I have been buying and selling them repeatedly.

    not long-term investments

Yeah thats the key here, don't look to make money long term.

Make money on the bounces. Still risky business though.

Oh, its very risky! This is why people who actually have some money right now they can afford to risk can make a lot of money. You know, the whole "rich get richer" statement is very true right now.

What we have is a vast majority of our population in financial crisis. No money to pay bills, let alone invest in risky investments. So the minority that has some disposable income right now can stand to make a killing.

A volatile market is an absolute HUGE opportunity as long as you know what you are doing. Day traders LOOK for volatile stocks. Short term is the rule.
I long for the days when our President actually liked our country.

Circuit fluctuates by 20+ points in a few days... the abovechart says NOT!!! BTW CC is about to be delisted because the stock has been below $1 a share for more than 30 days....

    Actually, it does.

I bought it at .18 and sold it at .32 just a few days later. Bought it back at .20 and sold again at .28

    Do the math.
