Cruz'd up country ribs with red beans and rice. OK to be fair we got Cruz in the food race!

Again my new kick is brining. The meat just stays way more tender and the flavored brine brings more depth, Wow that was deep!

1 package of sountry boneless pork ribs
    2 quarts of water
1/2 cup sugar and salt each
    1 Tbs whatsthishere sauce
2 big squirts of lemon juice
Brine overnight - it would work if you brined it for at least 4 hours but I like overnight.

Rub; you can use store bought too
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp salt
couple of grinds of black pepper
1 Tbsp of chili powder and paprika each
1 Tbsp of garlic and onion powder

    preheat oven to 350

Take pork out of brine and rinse off and then dry off
    pack on the dry rub
arrange on a wire rack in a roasting pan and cook for 1 hour

BBQ sauce time! I used Stubbs sweet and spicy

Brush rub on all sides of your Cruz'd pork and cook for 20 minutes more, should be done and serve it up!

Out of the brine and being rubbed in rub

    Brush on the sauce

    Get in the plate

    Cut into it and deliciousness!

No I like making up new flavor brines as I go along. so far my favorite is adding a good dose of siracha or Franks to it.

    Ha! Ha! Funny man!

Being originally from England, as both Mr. ABC and I are, just call it what sounds like ..."Wooster" sauce.

Don't need to pronounce the whole "Worcestershire" name darlin' , as long as it is "Lee & Perrins" brand. Is good stuff.

As for the red beans and rice ... not my favorite, but the meat sure looks great once again!

I thought maybe it was a recipe that Cruz had from when he lived in Canada.

    Oh Mercy!

Not that any of you Trump folks in here really care ...

But as a CRUZ supporter, I insist on being allowed to have enough equal time in here to at least edit what I last wrote:

"Wooster," the double o, is pronounced as the "u" in the word "puss" ... NOT as in the word "rooster."

Yes, I know, my time is up and must yield to Mr. T ...

As he is surely speaking somewhere at the moment, either live or previously recorded. He never stops talking, as does Obama ... about HIMSELF, that is!

    Ha! Ha! Love it ...

And you too Pat! Keep on cookin' up a storm!

It is wonderful to see men enjoy cooking as much as you do.

Just hope Mrs. Pat enjoys cleaning up all those pots, pans, and bowls used, in the kitchen after ...

Or do you do that as well?
