Laws that prohibit the defense of property and people empower those who seek to steal and murder. If this guy hadn't been a member of the local council, he'd have probably gone to prison for possessing a weapon, while the thugs who were manacing the woman and child would have gotten off with a slap on the wrist.

Britain is a nightmare for anyone wishing to protect themselves and/or their property. Hence why so many Brits are emigrating.

I'm on my first visit to Amsterdam this week. I've seen signs boasting that Amsterdam is the freest city in the world. Drugs, prostitution, you name the vice, you can do it here. But twice in the last 2 days I've seen the police pull over drivers who's apparent crime was talking on the phone while driving. :eek:
