Call me crazy, but why would anyone not want to cook with butter, oil, lard and grease?

That pan would last forever in my house due to non-use.

I try not to. I do use coconut oil, butter and cooking oil as needed, but very little.

Not all fat guys like me have blood cholesterol of 137!

The green as seen on TV pans had a high return rate, I seen some people returning them with food still stuck in them!

Even though this is non stick, you can still use a cooking lubricant!

This one looks like it will work, it would be great for eggs.

    Reviews and pictures at Amazon:

    Not very promising.

Some claim it's only 9" not 9.5, but they do sell larger sizes.

My mom has one small coated skillet that she uses a lot. It truly is non-stick and was a little more money then the one advertised. I think it's almost 3 years old now, and she still uses it several times a week, I will have to look on the bottom of it to see what the brand is. I will be over there again later today.

If the pan in the ad was truly non-stick whey would they need to brag it was dishwasher safe! LOL

I cook a lot with butter and oil, but have never used lard or grease. I don't even use Crisco. I don't deep fry, though, only pan or stir fry and I use olive oil mostly for that. There are a couple things I use margarine for due to consistency issues, and I use Brammel and Brown as a spread, but otherwise I use butter and olive oil for pretty much everything.

My grandma used to fry chopped potatoes in lard for us at lunchtime, because a sandwich, fruit, and cookies are just not enough food for growing children. She cooked like the Two Fat Ladies.
